I have the honour to make you acquainted that today and by your order I have been in person on board the British Barque "Frederick", whose Captain has a contused wound, 1/2 inches long, the skin cut, and situated in the middle of the forehead.

A contusion on the inner part of the left arm, and another contusion on the left upper part of the breast. These wounds, in view of the situation of the first and of the last and of the instrument with which they were caused (which herewith I send) are of grave prognostic.

All of which I acquaint you.
